In my previous post, I stated the following…

The Bible teaches that there are only three things that can influence your thought process,

and as a result, the trajectory and outcome of your life. Those three sources of influence

are God, Satan, and your five senses. In addition to the worldly influence that you allow to

direct your actions and develop your character, there is a spiritual battle taking place for

your mind, your soul, your life, and your eternal destiny. It matters not if you are a person

of faith or a non-believer. If you are a member of the human race, then you are involved in

spiritual warfare.

This website, our Facebook page of the same name, as well as our book ‘Take Captive

Every Thought’ are an encouragement to shift your focus away from the obvious sources

of influence in your life (that which you can see, hear, feel, taste, and smell) and focus your

attention on that which is much less obvious but just as real. There is a spiritual realm of

influence that battles for control of your mind continuously, and it is far more complicated

than simply good versus evil. Without the proper training, it is easy to dismiss these

conflicting thoughts as self-generated. They are not!

Most people see the world though a temporal set of lenses and react accordingly. Spirit of

Influence will teach you to see, experience, and understand the world through a spiritual

set of lenses. Both sides in this battle have an agenda marked out for your life. God’s

agenda is victory. Satan’s agenda is defeat. The stakes couldn’t be any higher. If your

goal is victor y through a God-honoring life, then I encourage you to read our book, follow

us on Facebook, and check back often for future blog posts.

As I grow each day in the Lord, I have a better understanding that unclean spirits are all around us each and every day, waiting for me to fail. I, go to my bible and turn to the book of Psalms. I have so many verses underline in the book that help me through the day.. When I, read them, God gives me the understanding that I need at that time. And some time He just wonts me to see if I recognize His love He has for me..

Just being contempt, knowing He is by my side.. It is hard at time on when I'm going through the hurt of being disconnected from my son and the life h…
