THE FULL ARMOR OF GOD (Part 6 of 9)

Christians around the world are becoming increasingly aware of the spiritual battle that surrounds them.

As a result, there is a renewed interest in the apostle Paul’s recommendation to put on the full armor of God to defend against the devil’s schemes as recorded in Ephesians, chapter 6.

“Therefore, put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground.  Stand firm then, take the helmet of salvation.” (Ephesians 6:13, 17)

THE HELMET OF SALVATION

THE BELIEVER’S ASSURANCE.  A soldier used a helmet to protect his head because if his head was wounded, he wouldn't be able to think.  Every believer needs to have the mind of Christ under the control of Almighty God.  When a person is saved, for the first time he has his right mind.  A person without the Lord Jesus Christ has a form of insanity.  They do not operate with the mind that God made them to have.  The most important thing for you to have at all times is an assurance of your salvation.  Do you know that you are saved?  If you are not, and know not, then you cannot win the battle.

What if there was one book, honed from Scripture, that could guide you to victory over the realities of spiritual warfare?

One that may change your outlook on the importance of professing your faith in Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior, with a confident and continual knowledge that your salvation is assured for eternity.

“If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.  For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.”  As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.” (Romans 10:9-11)

'Take Captive Every Thought' was written to disseminate the truth about spiritual warfare and to provide Christians the wisdom, discernment, and determination necessary to expose and defeat Satan’s influence over their thought life and allow God’s plan to prevail in their lives.
